A Vision for your spirit!
Our founders
Once upon a time, two friends from Kentucky—Carus Waggoner and Rick Couch—found themselves building dreams in the desert.
Rick, a mechanical engineer, and Carus, an industrial designer, weren’t just tinkering with blueprints they were designing magic. Their work took them to the heart of the Las Vegas Strip, where they helped bring to life some of the world’s most spectacular shows, including Cirque du Soleil’s LOVE and Viva Elvis. In that world of bright lights, soaring acrobats, and endless creativity, they learned a simple but powerful lesson: presentation matters just as much as product.
But Vegas wasn’t home. Kentucky was calling. And so they packed up their skills, their big ideas, and a little of that showbiz sparkle and returned to Northern Kentucky with a new dream: to build a distillery that would awaken the senses.
That dream became Second Sight Spirits.
Guided by the mantra “good for the spirit,” Rick and Carus set out to create more than just great bourbon or craft cocktails—they wanted to create an experience. Every bottle they make uses premium, local ingredients and time-honored distilling techniques. But that’s just the beginning.
They believe spirits should excite, engage, and entertain. So when you walk into Second Sight’s lounge, you're not just stepping into a tasting room—you’re stepping into a story, a place where vaudeville meets craftsmanship, and every detail is designed to inspire.
At Second Sight, it’s not just about what’s in your glass.
It’s about what’s in your future!
